Wait - But hold on… Who is Francesco Zappa?

Francesco Zappa was a musician from Milan who lived near the end of the 18th century. He was highly regarded for his virtuoso cello playing and his compositions were published and distributed throughout Europe. Fast forward to 1984, a very interesting thing happened. Frank Zappa discovers the unpublished works of Francesco, performs Francesco Zappa's Opus 1 trios and Opus 4 sonatas on a digital synthesizer called the Synclavier and now over 200 years later: FRANCESCO ZAPPA’S DEBUT ALBUM is released into the world. You can enjoy it with dinner, or just listen along the next time you feel the urge to wear a powdered wig.
