These albums are vintage stock originating directly from the Zappa Records warehouse. They have literally been in the Zappas’ own storage since the 80's! Once they're gone, they're gone!

Originally distributed in May 1981 by mail-order (with transcript offer), Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar is the first in a 3-part series showcasing Frank Zappa's mastery of the guitar via his unique solos. Supporting musicians featured on the album include Steve Vai and Warren Cuccurullo.

It's worth mentioning that the concept of creating entire albums of excerpted guitar solos is, itself, another exceptional Zappa brainchild.
